# Investigation: Saturnian Cosmology — Published Timelines, Year Discrepancies, Year-Counting, and Solar Origin (Open)

> **TL;DR:** The only full **published BCE pin-date timeline** in the Saturnian / Electric-Universe lane is **Jno Cook** (*Recovering the Lost World*, [saturniancosmology.org](https://saturniancosmology.org/); interactive mirror: [Tiki-Toki 30,000 B.C.–Present](https://www.tiki-toki.com/timeline/entry/540208/Saturnian-Cosmology-The-Planets-30000-B.C.-to-Present/), last updated **2016-06-16**). **Talbott, Cardona, Cochrane, Thornhill** supply the **polar-configuration myth physics** but **refuse Cook’s post-breakup Velikovsky sequence** and usually **omit Cook-style BCE tables**. **Velikovsky** dates **Venus/Mars (≈1500–686 BCE)** only. Year gaps vs this repo’s timeline come from **(a)** different year-zeros, **(b)** Cook’s **variable-length “years”** (225→365 days), **(c)** Cook’s **acceptance of climatological / C-14-calibrated** deep anchors (Younger Dryas **10,900 BC**), and **(d)** this project’s **phantom-time / C-14-rejection** layer that Cook does **not** share. Cook **does use carbon dating** (INTCAL98 + tree rings) as a check on short years; this project **rules C-14 out** for electrical catastrophes — [radiocarbon dossier](/history/chronology/investigations/radiocarbon-dating-investigation.md).

**Status:** Open — first full compare of published Saturnian chronologies against the Paradigm Threat timeline; Cardona book-volume BCE tables and Bonnington pin dates still to be extracted page-by-page.

## 1. Authors already under investigation (brief)

These are the Saturnian / catastrophist authors **already wired** into this corpus (dossiers, mirrors, timeline events). This file does **not** re-litigate their myth claims; it asks how each **dates** events.

## 2. Published timelines inventory

### 2.1 Interactive / tabular chronologies (closest to “mine”)

| Artifact | Author / editor | Span | Form | Notes |
|----------|-----------------|------|------|-------|
| **[Tiki-Toki: Saturnian Cosmology — The Planets 30,000 B.C. to Present](https://www.tiki-toki.com/timeline/entry/540208/Saturnian-Cosmology-The-Planets-30000-B.C.-to-Present/)** | Visualization of **Jno Cook** (site credit: saturniancosmology.org; “work in progress”; **last updated 2016-06-16**) | Display from **≈30,000 BC** → modern stabilization | Interactive story dots (orbit changes, arcs, year-length steps, Absu collapse, etc.) | **Best public twin** of a Cook-style event stream; not an independent chronology |
| **saturniancosmology.org** — esp. [Appendix A Chronology](https://saturniancosmology.org/chron.php), [Appendix L Long-Range](https://saturniancosmology.org/long.php), [Ch. 11 Timeline + Gimbutas](https://saturniancosmology.org/gim.php), [Ch. 6 Alternate Cosmology](https://saturniancosmology.org/planets.php) | **Jno Cook** | Geologic deep time → CE | HTML essays + date lists | Canonical source the Tiki-Toki compresses |
| **Paradigm Threat timeline** (`paradigm-threat-timeline`) | This project | Before-creation → 21st c. | Event markdown + multi-source `dates[]` | Cook pins + Fomenko/Illig + author extensions |

### 2.2 Book / series chronologies (partial pins)

| Work | Dating character |
|------|------------------|
| Cardona *God Star* series | Proto-Saturn **alone in space** (brown dwarf + disk + Birkeland jet + plasmasphere) → flare cycles → humans appear → **entry into Solar System** ends Age of Darkness → configuration breakup. Public interview outline ([Thunderbolts forum](https://www.thunderbolts.info/wp/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3824)) is **phase-ordered**, not year-ordered. |
| Talbott *The Saturn Myth* / Thunderbolts blogs | Polar configuration = history of the gods; **“just prior to first civilizations”**; **no** Cook 4077/3147 table. Cook states Talbott/Thornhill/Cardona hold **nothing** happened after breakup **3147 BC** of Velikovsky’s Venus/Mars type ([Cook intro](https://saturniancosmology.org/)). |
| Velikovsky *Worlds in Collision* | **1500–686 BCE** Venus then Mars; Saturn as Golden Age **idea** (unpublished Saturn MS inspired Talbott) without Cook’s neoclassical BCE stack. |
| de Grazia Quantavolution | Young / recently reordered system; *Iron Age of Mars* synthesizes Talbott–Cardona–Cochrane for **8th–7th c. BCE** Mars dominance. |
| Adrian Bonnington *Saturn Our First Son* (cited on this timeline’s proto-Saturn event) | Narrative Golden Age flare / Birkeland stairway; **not** a competing full BCE ledger in this pass. |

**Finding:** Outside Cook (+ Tiki-Toki mirror) and this repo, **there is no second modern interactive Saturnian chronology** with thousands of dated planetary-adjustment stories. Everyone else publishes **myth sequence**, **physics**, or **short catastrophe windows**.

## 3. Compare/contrast to the Paradigm Threat timeline

| Topic | Cook / Tiki-Toki | Thunderbolts (Talbott / Cardona / Thornhill) | Velikovsky | **This timeline** |
|-------|------------------|-----------------------------------------------|------------|-------------------|
| Golden Age window | **4077–3147 BC** (nova → flood/breakup) | Same **idea**; Cardona/Talbott often **undated** or loosely “Neolithic / early civ” | Golden Age = Saturn **theme**, not Cook pins | Adopts **4077 / 3147** as Saturnian spine |
| Pre-Golden chaos | **10,900 BC** Younger Dryas / first creation; egg **≈4900 BC** | Chaos / darkness motifs (Cardona); dates vary in forum debate (YD vs ~2300 BC minority opinions) | Not Cook’s stack | Uses Cook’s pre-creation plasmoids lane + author before-creation |
| Post-3147 Venus/Mars | **Keeps** Velikovsky-style adjustments (Exodus **1492 BC**, Mars **747 / 685 BC**, etc.) | Cook: they **deny** post-breakup Venus/Mars catastrophes | Core thesis | Keeps Dark Ages planetary war lane; also **1774 MudFlood / Mars** (phantom-time C14 hook) |
| CE compression | **Standard** Scaligerian centuries | Standard | Standard | **Illig / Fomenko** phantom centuries; **774→1774** C14 spike remapping |
| Carbon dating | **Uses** INTCAL98 / dendro as solar-year absolute; reinterprets offset via **short years** | EU critiques radiometric assumptions (Thornhill et al.) | Critiqued mid-century; not Cook’s table | **Ruled out** for electrical catastrophe dating ([radiocarbon investigation](/history/chronology/investigations/radiocarbon-dating-investigation.md)) |
| Solar / system origin | Saturn **enters** existing Solar System (repeat visits; last **≈3 mya** “stay”); Sun already there but **obscured** under Absu/coma | Proto-Saturn **brown dwarf outside**; **captured** by Sun; entry flare ends darkness | Does not replace solar origin story | **Cosmic life cycle** (solar-system birth→capture→Golden Age→Dark Ages→rip→repeat); universe **eternal**; ≈4077 is conception / joining chapter — [Cosmic Life Cycle](/timeline/evt-cosmic-life-cycle) |
| Deep geologic time | Appendix L keeps **billions of years** (formation of Earth/Mars, Cambrian, etc.) | Mixed; Cardona focuses on witnessed phases | Historical memory catastrophes | Stronger push against deep-time dogma; C14/electrical “old carbon” thesis |

**Overlap (high):** Polar / collinear Saturn–Venus–Mars–Earth sky; Saturn as primordial “sun”; Era of the Gods; breakup flood; plasma / EU language.

**Hard forks:** Cook’s **C-14 friendship** vs this project’s **C-14 ban**; Cook’s **billion-year appendix** vs this project’s chronology skepticism; Cook’s acceptance of **Firestone / Younger Dryas calendar** vs this project’s distrust of climatological deep anchors; this project’s **phantom-time CE** vs Cook’s conventional AD/BC after ~747 BC.

## 4. Q1 — What causes the year discrepancies?

Discrepancies between Cook/Tiki-Toki, Velikovsky, Thunderbolts undated myth, and **this** timeline are not one bug — they stack.

### 4.1 Different year-zeros for the “same” creation

Cook’s own thesis (also summarized in this timeline’s [synchronization tables](/timeline/evt-timeline-synchronization-tables)): civilizations set year-zero at **different chapters** of one sequence:

| Anchor | Cook date | Who Cook says counted from it |
|--------|-----------|--------------------------------|
| Saturn nova / “sun shows” | **4077 BC** | Quiché Maya (among others) |
| World flood / polar breakup | **3147 BC** (not raw Maya **3114**) | Long Count / Sumerian “after the flood” |
| Fall of Absu / “Noah” | **2349 BC** | Biblical / Babylonian |
| Skies quiet / “history begins” | **≈685 BC** | Classical “start of history” |

Two timelines that both say “creation” can differ by **~900–3400 years** without disagreeing on event **order**.

### 4.2 Cook’s solar-year vs calendar-day correction

Cook prefers **3147 BC** over archaeologists’ **3114 BC** because he corrects the Olmec/Maya Long Count inception against **747 BC** and insists pre-747 dates are **solar years**, not raw Julian day sums ([chron.php](https://saturniancosmology.org/chron.php)). That alone is a **≈33-year** systematic shift at the flood epoch.

### 4.3 Variable length of a “year” (Cook’s largest internal stretch/compress)

Cook’s calendar reconstruction ([chron.php](https://saturniancosmology.org/chron.php) “The Calendar”):

| Interval (Cook) | Days / year | Approx. AU |
|-----------------|-------------|------------|
| 8347–3147 BC (incl. Era of Gods) | **225** | ~0.72 |
| 3147–2349 | **240** | ~0.75 |
| 2349–2193 | **260** | ~0.80 |
| 2193–1492 | **≈273** | ~0.83 |
| 1492–747 | **360** | ~0.99 |
| after 747 | **365.25** | 1.00 |

A king-list “1000 years” in a 225-day regime is **not** 1000 × 365.25 solar days. Cook converts everything to **modern solar years** for the BCE labels on the Tiki-Toki. That conversion is a major source of **numeric** disagreement with authors who treat ancient “years” as always ≈365 days — and with this project when it treats reign lengths as political/redaction problems rather than orbital periods.

### 4.4 Anchors borrowed from mainstream deep time

Cook’s **10,900 BC** “first creation” is explicitly tied to **Younger Dryas / Firestone** climatology and **uncalibrated C-14 BP** labels in Appendix L (“12,800–11,500 ya, uncal C14”). If that anchor is wrong (as this project’s radiocarbon / electrical thesis implies), Cook’s whole pre-4077 **stretch** slides.

### 4.5 School splits on the post-3147 tail

Cook **extends** the planetary war into Velikovsky’s millennia. Talbott/Cardona/Thornhill (per Cook’s own complaint) **stop** at breakup. Velikovsky **starts** serious dated catastrophe near **1500 BCE**. Same myth vocabulary → **non-overlapping BCE grids**.

### 4.6 This timeline’s extra shifts (not in Cook)

- **Phantom time / NC** (~300–1000+ invented years in the CE / early medieval map).
- Remapping **774 CE C-14 spike → 1774** MudFlood.
- Author-unique solar-entry and Mars/CERN layers that Cook never dated.

**Net:** Discrepancies are **method stacks**, not typos on one shared spreadsheet.

## 5. Q2 — How do they count years? Are they using carbon dating?

### 5.1 Where a true per-year civil record exists (Cook’s own admissions)

| Era | Cook’s counting tools | Gap? |
|-----|----------------------|------|
| Before ≈10,900 BC | Mostly **none**; “apparent long years”; C-14 / ice used as proxy | **Yes** — no per-year human ledger |
| 10,900–3147 BC | Maya **Baktun** philosophy, Chilam Balam / Popol Vuh **motifs**, Sumerian “kings before the flood” (day tallies inferred), Egyptian “lifetimes of the Gods” | **Sparse** — Cook says Maya speak to planetary interactions but give **no year tallies** before 3147 |
| After 3147 BC | Egyptian annual festival-years; Kish/Uruk king years; Mesoamerican Tun/Katun/Baktun; later 360-day worldwide calendars | **Better**, but still reconstructed |
| After 747 BC | 365.25-day reform; Nabonassar era; classical ephemerides | Closest to continuous |

So: Cook **does** claim continuous **solar-year** labels back to 10,900 BC, but he **does not** claim a continuous **civil diary**. The Tiki-Toki’s dense dots are **model events** (orbit steps, arcs, flares) interpolated onto that reconstructed grid — not excavated yearbooks.

### 5.2 Does Cook use carbon dating? **Yes — centrally.**

From [Appendix A — C-14 Radiometric Dating](https://saturniancosmology.org/chron.php):

- Uses **INTCAL98** (Stuiver et al.) calibration.
- Treats **tree rings** as “absolute and indisputable” **solar-year** counts (while noting rings say nothing about **days per year**).
- Before ≈8000 BC tree data, leans on **coral** Barbados series.
- Argues that C-14 vs historical offsets before 747 BC match his **short-year** shortfall (example: calculated **≈862 years** shortfall by 4075 BC vs C-14 difference **≈712 years** — “same order”).
- For pre-4077, he says a pure 225-day model **fails** C-14; he **estimates** longer years (**≈395 / 305 / 175** day guesses in his table) **from** the C-14 differences.

**Contrast with this project:** [Radiocarbon investigation](/history/chronology/investigations/radiocarbon-dating-investigation.md) argues electrical discharge produces **“old carbon”** appearance and that C-14 **cannot register** catastrophe spikes. That is an **epistemic fork**: Cook **calibrates with** C-14; this timeline **disqualifies** C-14 for the same epochs.

### 5.3 Do Talbott / Cardona count years the same way?

No published Cook-equivalent year table found in this pass. Cardona’s public chronology is **phase** chronology (brown dwarf → flares → humans → Solar entry → breakup). Talbott insists the reconstruction is **specific enough to falsify** via myth iconography — that is **sequence evidence**, not dendrochronology. Forum debates (e.g. breakup at YD vs ~2300 BC) show **internal dating instability** once you leave Cook’s spreadsheet.

### 5.4 Tiki-Toki specifically

The Tiki-Toki entry is a **UI over Cook**, not a new dating method. Its “30,000 B.C.” banner matches Cook’s Upper Paleolithic / long-range appendix display window, not a claim of 30,000 consecutive civil years with named magistrates.

---

## 6. Q3 — Solar lifecycle / what started the system?

### 6.1 Cook — no Sun “main-sequence biography”; Saturn as visitor

Cook does **not** narrate a standard stellar lifecycle for **our** Sun (protostar → main sequence → red giant). Instead ([planets.php](https://saturniancosmology.org/planets.php), intro):

1. Accepts (with caveats) a deep-time Solar System backdrop in Appendix L (**billions of years** for Earth/Mars formation, Cambrian, etc.).
2. Argues **Saturn is a misfit** that **entered** the Solar System on a long elliptical path **before the Cambrian**, returned at long intervals, and in the **last ≈3 million years** “returned to stay,” driving glaciations and hominid radiation.
3. **10,900 BC:** Earth enters Saturn’s **coma** (electric contact / Younger Dryas).
4. **4077 BC:** Saturn **nova** (glow → arc); skies clear; present Sun becomes visible as a separate object after coma drop.
5. Post-3147: planets settle toward modern orbits (Tiki-Toki “stabilizes” stories).

**Start of “our” witnessed system (human memory):** Saturn capture / polar stack, not solar ignition. **Start of the Sun as object in Cook’s physics:** already present; **visually revealed** at nova.

### 6.2 Cardona — brown-dwarf proto-Saturn outside, then capture

Public outline (Thunderbolts interview, Cardona-corrected):

1. **Brown dwarf Saturn** alone in space: circumstellar disk, bipolar Birkeland jet, **invisible plasmasphere** (stars not seen through sheath).
2. Repeated **flare-up cycles** (possible satellite ejections — Cardona cautious).
3. Humans appear **during** that external career.
4. **Entry into the Solar System** → potential change; final flare ends **Age of Darkness**; Sun’s domain encountered (Alfvén plasma cells / heliopause brushing per Thornhill/Scott in the interview).
5. Polar configuration / religion / history begin; later **breakup**.

**Start:** Proto-Saturn as **independent dwarf star system**. **Our Sun** is the **capture partner**, not the original light for Earthbound witnesses.

### 6.3 Talbott / Thornhill

Myth + EU plasma: polar configuration of planets; electrical scarring; **no** detailed solar fusion lifecycle. The “first sun” of myth is **Saturn**. Present Sun becomes dominant **after** polar order ends.

### 6.4 Velikovsky / de Grazia

Velikovsky: recent **orbital** catastrophes inside an already-existing system. de Grazia: **quantavolution** — geologically/astronomically **young** reorganization; electrical creativity; not a Cook-style visitor chronology.

### 6.5 This timeline — **yes, a cosmic (solar-system) lifecycle**

Paradigm Threat **does** subscribe to a **cosmic life cycle** — at **solar-system** scale, not as a textbook stellar-evolution story for Sol, and **not** as a Big Bang birth of the whole universe. Canonical write-ups: [Cosmic Life Cycle](/timeline/evt-cosmic-life-cycle), [Chronology hub § Cosmic Life Cycle](/history/chronology/page.md), [Q1](/cosmos/cosmology/qa/q01-big-melt-eternal-universe-solar-cycle.md). Site claim id: **`cosmic-life-cycle`**.

**Cycle (author synthesis):**

1. Sun builds **proto-planets** internally (capacitor / hollow structure).
2. Violent **birth** (CME-like ejection) to the outer system.
3. Capture / impregnation by a **brown-dwarf** host (proto-Saturn), then electrical **return** into the Sun’s domain — **conception**.
4. Plasma-sheath explosion → gas giants + Birkeland coalescence → **collinear Golden Age** (life creation); ≈**4077 BCE** pin is a chapter here ([proto-Saturn joins Sun](/timeline/evt-4077-bce-proto-saturn-joins-sun-orbit)).
5. Collinear breakup → **Dark Ages** cataclysms → modern orbits.
6. Long stability → density/conductivity loss → **rip** outward → empty system → **next cycle**.

The universe is treated as **eternal**; Bang/Melt/Rip language is that lifecycle **scaled up** after telescopes left the solar system ([1927 consensus event](/timeline/evt-1927-ce-big-bang-scientific-consensus-religion)).

| Model | What “starts” the remembered Golden Age chapter? | Lifecycle? |
|-------|--------------------------------------------------|------------|
| Cook | Saturn’s capture / coma / nova | Partial (visitor Saturn; keeps geologic deep time in Appendix L) |
| Cardona | Brown-dwarf Saturn → Solar capture | Phase outline; not the full PT birth→rip cycle |
| Talbott/EU | Polar configuration assembly | Myth/physics sequence; Thornhill does not state PT’s full cycle |
| Velikovsky | N/A (recent wars) | No |
| **This timeline** | Proto-Saturn enters Sun’s electrical domain ≈4077 (conception / Golden Age) | **Yes — solar-system cosmic life cycle** (birth → capture → Golden Age → Dark Ages → rip → repeat); universe eternal |

---

## 7. Author open claims (pattern registry)

Claims that are **this dossier’s synthesis** or **this project’s fork**, not Cook’s text:

1. **Cook is the only full modern Saturnian *timeline*; Tiki-Toki is his UI.** Treating Tiki-Toki as an independent school is a category error.
2. **The largest dating conflict with this site is methodological:** Cook **needs** C-14/dendro; this site **forbids** C-14 for catastrophe epochs — so Cook’s 10,900 / paleolithic stretch is **non-portable** without a replacement clock.
3. **Thunderbolts “no post-3147 Venus/Mars”** is a second hard fork: if they are right, Cook’s Tiki-Toki **middle third** is fan fiction; if Cook is right, Thunderbolts chronology is truncated.
4. **Variable-year conversion** can explain king-list “implausible” reigns without Fomenko — but this project often prefers **redaction / duplication** explanations for long reigns; both can be true in different eras, and the dossier should not collapse them.
5. **Cosmic life cycle** (solar-system birth–Golden Age–rip–repeat; eternal universe) is **this project’s** package — [site claim `cosmic-life-cycle`](/site-claims.json) — not Cook’s Appendix L deep-time stack and not a denial of lifecycle.

## 8. Questions to clarify, verify, or debunk

| ID | Question | How to adjudicate |
|----|----------|-------------------|
| Q1 | Exact Cardona BCE (if any) in *God Star* / *Flare Star* / later volumes for breakup and Solar entry | Page extract from Trafford volumes / Mikamar; compare to Cook 3147 / 10,900 |
| Q2 | Who built the Tiki-Toki (Cook himself vs fan)? Any post-2016 updates? | Tiki-Toki owner metadata; Wayback; saturniancosmology.org news.php |
| Q3 | Can Cook’s short-year ↔ INTCAL offsets be reproduced with **INTCAL20/13** (not 98)? | Recompute his difference table |
| Q4 | Does any Thunderbolts official page publish a dated timeline after all? | thunderbolts.info + Kronia archives sweep |
| Q5 | Bonnington *Saturn Our First Son* — any pin dates beyond narrative? | Full text pass |
| Q6 | If C-14 is disqualified, what **non-radiometric** clock can still hold 4077/3147? | Maya Long Count + king lists only? Archaeomagnetism? Myth-only? |
| Q7 | Cook Appendix L billion-year list vs Cardona “alone in space” — are they compatible? | Explicit contradiction map |

## 9. Weak points / remaining research TODOs

| TODO | Priority |
|------|----------|
| Extract Cardona volume chronologies into a side-by-side table with Cook | High |
| Rebuild Cook’s year-length ↔ C-14 difference spreadsheet under INTCAL20 | High |
| Archive Tiki-Toki story list (titles + dates) as static CSV in wget | Medium |
| Map every Tiki-Toki “orbit stabilizes” / “electrical arc” node onto PT `evt-*` IDs | Medium |
| SIS *Chronology & Catastrophism Review* articles with Saturnian dates (Cardona 2000 “Demands…”) | Medium |
| Clarify author position: keep Cook pins while rejecting Cook’s C-14 method — state replacement clock | High (editorial) |

## Limits and disclaimers

> **Prisca sapientia (epistemic foundation):** This investigation assumes [**prisca sapientia**](/docs/PRISCA_SAPIENTIA.md)—the historical and philosophical belief that the ancients possessed a vast, profound understanding of the universe, nature, and theology that was subsequently lost or degraded. Modern consensus science and institutions are not treated as default truth; evidence tiers below adjudicate specific claims.

This dossier maps **published dating methods** inside the Saturnian/catastrophist literature. It does **not** prove Cook’s orbits, Cardona’s brown dwarf, or this site’s phantom-time thesis. Author open claims (§7) are **pattern registry**, not established fact. Tiki-Toki content was sampled from public page text + Cook’s mirrored HTML; full story-by-story export remains a TODO.
